A really good place for date night or just simply a night out. We went here and the valet was super attentive and was on point. Then the hostess I wish I got her name but she was very friendly and good at her job in my opinion. The servers and bar tenders all made the night special and the food was so good. I highly suggest to get whatever special they have going on at the time.

Update: I really love the decor of this restaurant . Also, the surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. The food is expertly prepared and well- presented. The service is attentive but terribly rushed, where the waiter leaves you with an unfinished sentence (it happened several times). There was live music, which is a nice touch, but it’s not conducive to having a conversation. The restaurants piped music is also too loud. The food is lovely, but expensive. I will return. ****** A truly beautiful restaurant set-up with views of the Buffalo Bayou and surrounded by trees. The interior is elegant yet unpretentious. The food is absolutely delicious.

I came here for my birthday dinner- first time at Flora. Reservations were made so easily even after we called to add more people they were so patient. The entrance was confusing several from our party passed up the entrance. I know there was construction going on and that could have played a factor. Upon arrival they had valet parking which was so inexpensive. The scenery around is so calming and beautiful when you go inside man oh man it’s beautiful! And let me add the staff reflects the same inviting attitude. We were a party of 7- 4 of us had a cocktail, we had 4 different appetizers and for the most part all got different entrees. For the quality of the food and taste i was not mad at the $370 total. The staff was so attentive and it was such a great dinner.

The waiter was super nice & attentive. We got the fajitas 1lb, I feel like it definitely should’ve came with bigger portion of rice and beans, it made me wonder what the portion would be for 1/2lb.. overall the food was good; I loved the margarita.

The location is set in a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely a date night or nice dining experience for any kind of outing. The food was good and it is not Tex-Mex. It's more of a southern Mexico Flair. I would recommend getting any of the seafood dishes as well as the ceviche. The ceviche was a standout for me and my partner. we are not Ceviche lovers, but we wanted to try it and we were blown away by the flavor and taste. The drinks were craft and look pretty but the taste of the overall drink was lacking for myself and partner.

The place is beautiful and was at capacity on a Saturday night. Drinks were great. Food was good. The garlic shrimp was a little too salty for me but still tasted yummy. We had the chocolate tart for a shared dessert and oh my gosh, was it amazing!

Beautiful on the inside & excellent service. $10 vallet parking. Started with chips & queso & grilled or baked (don’t remember) oysters & they were sooo good & full of flavor. Green chicken enchiladas were good, could use a little more flavor in the green sauce. Beans & rice were good.

While getting a reservation wasn't difficult, I definitely recommend doing so--this place fills up fast, and for good reason. As others have noted, the location, views and overall ambiance set Flora apart. The restaurant feels very organically part of its surroundings. As well, the food is amazing. The ceviches, with their delicate mix of tang and heat, really stand out. The service is attentive without being overwhelming or rushed. Highly recommend.
